I believe therapy should be as individual as the person seeking it. My approach is integrative, grounded in depth psychology, and infused with compassion, curiosity, and collaboration. You are not a diagnosis, not a label, and not just another case; you are a whole person, with a story, strengths, and the capacity to heal.
I bring over a decade of experience working in the mental health field, including direct work with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, ADHD, grief, and life transitions. I specialize in gender-affirming care for LGBTQIA2S+ clients, and I am passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals in feeling understood and empowered.
My clinical style is relational, warm, and honest. I draw from evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care while making space for the deeper emotional work that often leads to lasting transformation. Whether you're navigating big life changes, healing from the past, or simply seeking a space to breathe and be heard, I'll meet you where you are.
Together, we’ll work to build insight, strengthen coping tools, and reconnect you with a sense of meaning and wholeness. Therapy isn’t always easy, but it doesn’t have to feel cold or clinical. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, affirming, and truly yours.
I specialize in working with gender-diverse folx, LGBTQIA2S+ communities, un-traditional relationships, disabled identities, people experiencing oppression, millennials, gen-z humans, people questioning a self-diagnosis from relatable tik toks and memes, neurodivergence and spectrum populations, adolescents, advocates, artists, sex workers, the punks, the anxious depressed and traumatized, the comedians, heartbreakers and the heartbroken, the soul searchers, complex people with mental health challenges, and people who may think "but a therapist just couldn't understand me."
As an openly transgender man, (I know, you're already thinking, "thank god he's not cis!) I know it can be hard to find the right people, and safe spaces to talk about what you're going through. I offer a supportive, and non-judgemental container to process all of yourself in! Not just the parts that society has said are okay to have. I'm honored to talk with you about your journey. Even if you're questioning. I'm here to support you and help you become the most confident, audacious, and secure version of yourself. You deserve to live your life with peace and happiness. I'd love to help you discover that. No matter what the barriers look like ahead, I will be by your side through the harder stuff to say. I WRITE GENDER-AFFIRMING MEDICAL LETTERS UPON REQUEST.
In the delicate landscape of mental health, anxiety and depression cast their shadows, affecting millions worldwide. Anxiety, characterized by persistent worry and fear, can be an overwhelming force that disrupts daily life and induces a constant sense of unease. Depression steals the colors from life, leaving individuals trapped in a pervasive darkness. amidst the daunting challenges, there is a glimmer of hope. Using relaxation techniques, mindfulness interventions, and psychoeducational tools, I work with clients to help them find a way to live a colorful life again.
Let's face it. It's easy to get distracted. You might even be thinking about macaroni and not your mental health needs as you read this. Everyone has a different perspective on how a "typical" person should act, feel, and present. This is often a catch-22 in a neurodivergent mind. If how one person feels is unique from "the vast majority", this does not discredit the other person's feelings, identity, perspectives or experiences. Together, we can work on what is overstimulating, too intense, or not intense enough, and create goals highlighting your voice and needs. This can include what you would like your life to look like, and how to make it feel more comfortable to live. Things get easier when you have tools that create balance. Let's find clarity while practicing reassuring skills specifically for your needs.
We often talk about the planes that crash, but rarely about the planes that land. Many individuals can experience distress from painful and traumatic circumstances. Stress, disenchantment, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger after traumatic events. Trauma is complex. People will never be completely the same after a physical or mental wound has been activated. I have extensive training in trauma work helping others reclaim the parts of their identities that have consciously and unconsciously been lost and have impacted their daily lives and relationships.
I have over 8 years of knowledge working with people experiencing challenging emotions and behaviors. My priority is to help people get through what could feel like their worst nightmares. You will only be met with non-judgemental compassion, and empathy. I would be honored to sit beside you when the world feels heavier than an iPod 1.
